Of Welcomes and Hellos

Welcome ye, to the place of rambles. I suppose I should talk to you, oh adventurer of the Internet, in a relatable way, dare I say, a common and human way, but I’m loathe to create too much of a connection without the buffer of sarcasm, for my parents (and a few friends) indirectly taught me to do so (if sarcasm even be the right word; more like trying-to-be-fancy speak, ya?)

Anyway, the point of this blog (aside from building up my brand, as the coonts call it) is Story. This is a blog about Stories, so let me tell you a Story. It’s a Story about Stories, okay? Here it is:

Once upon a time, humanity looked at itself and was forever transformed into a higher state. That’s it; the end. Chrysalis to monarch, symbolically speaking.

And that’s the essence of all stories. Delving and getting. Darkness and light. Adventure and transmutation. Chemistry of soul and mind. Is any of this making sense? I’d guess much of it not for the average story-ingester, and clear AF for the Jungian, the Alchemist and the screenwriting gurus in the room.

Gots to go now, lest my welcome be overspent. This is just an intro tease; I’ll ramble about Stories found on screens, pages and my own journal (straight from both of the formers) over time. Daily, maybe. A few times per week, at least.
